Dan Binder

Dan Binder is a media planning expert with over 25 years of managing advertising media planning and investment. He leads a team of experienced media professionals providing the full range of media services, from complete management and operation of a client’s media departments to senior level consultation services. Dan’s experience with large global advertising agencies has included leadership of clients at all levels in a broad mix of product categories including retail/franchise based businesses, packaged goods/grocery products, hard goods and business-to-business.

Dan has served as President of Strategic Media Management, an independent media services company that provides media capabilities and services to small and mid-sized ad agencies and advertisers. Before that, he was V.P. Media Director, Print Investments at Starcom Worldwide, the media subsidiary of the Leo Burnett Group. At Starcom, Dan developed and led the team responsible for the creation and successful execution of print plans for all agency clients, influencing $1.3 billion in print media spending annually.

Before joining Starcom, Dan spent many years at Foote, Cone & Belding/Chicago as VP Client Media Director. His responsibilities included oversight of all media activities for clients, focused primarily on the development of strategic media solutions to clients’ marketing problems. At FCB, Dan oversaw budgets totaling over $100 million in annual spending.
